Day 3 & 4 Game View in Northern Serengeti National Park

We wake early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti at dawn if you wish. This should be discussed with your safari guide the previous night. After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in this area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in this Mara River area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however from July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note – finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross or not cross until a couple of days later. Serengeti Mara Mara Tented Lodge Located in North Serengeti close to the river Mara in the Kogatende Area. Situated in the heart of the Migration from June to November with an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. The lodge consists of 16 tents with en suite facilities, including family rooms. It is divided into two camps, north and south. Guests at each of the two camps will use the Main House that includes lounges, restaurant, view deck and swimming pool.
